The Big Walnut Golden Eagles softball team scored 2 runs and held the visiting Utica Redskins to 1 in the Golden Eagles non-league win on Friday.

The Golden Eagles now possess a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westerville South for a Ohio Capital - Capital battle on Monday, April 21. Big Walnut will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 16-0 league loss to Dublin Scioto (Dublin, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-9.

With the loss, Utica moves to 4-7 on the season. The Redskins travel to Grove City Christian (Grove City, OH) to confront the Eagles in a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 22. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 5-6.
