Connecticut High School Softball - Oxford bounces Crosby
April 18, 2025: Oxford, CT 06478 The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Oxford Wolverines (Oxford, CT) and the visiting Crosby Bulldogs (Waterbury, CT), observed Oxford's softball team notch a victory over Crosby by a tally of 14-1.
The Wolverines (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Holy Cross (Waterbury, CT). The Crusaders go into the Naugatuck Valley - Brass bout with a 4-3 record. In their last bout, Holy Cross was routed by Woodland Regional (Beacon Falls, CT), 6-0, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Wolcott Eagles (Wolcott, CT) in a Naugatuck Valley - Brass bout, on Saturday, April 19. Crosby will attempt to advance on its 0-6 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 15-10 league loss to St. Paul Catholic (Bristol, CT).
