Tipton Blue Devils (Tipton, IN) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Eastern Comets (Greentown, IN), 8-7 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Tipton improves its record to 3-6 on the year. The Blue Devils host Hamilton Heights (Arcadia, IN) to face the Huskies in a Hoosier game on Tuesday, April 22. The Huskies enter the game with a record of 5-3. Hamilton Heights won 16-4 in their recent non-league game against Sheridan (Sheridan, IN)

The Comets now hold a 0-9 record. They play next when they host Rochester for a non-league game on Monday, April 21. Eastern will face a Zebras squad coming off a 11-10 non-league win over Culver Community (Culver, IN). The Zebras record now stands at 5-3.
