The Edinburgh Lancers softball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting South Decatur Cougars to 4 in the Lancers league win on Friday.

The Lancers now possess a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eminence for a non-league battle on Monday, April 21. Edinburgh will confront a Eels team coming off a 19-0 league win over Irvington Preparatory Academy (Indianapolis, IN). The Eels record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, South Decatur moves to 2-4 on the season. The Cougars host Southwestern (Hanover, IN) to confront the Rebels in a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 22. The Rebels come into the battle with a record of 5-1.
