Fountain Central Mustangs (Veedersburg, IN) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Faith Christian Eagles (Lafayette, IN), 12-1 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Fountain Central improves its record to 3-6 on the year. The Mustangs host Seeger (West Lebanon, IN) to face the Patriots in a Wabash River game on Tuesday, April 22. The Patriots enter the game with a record of 1-6. Seeger lost 15-14 in their recent league game against North Vermillion (Cayuga, IN)

The Eagles now hold a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to West Central for a Midwest game on Monday, April 21. Faith Christian will face a Trojans squad coming off a 17-7 non-league win over Morgan Township (Valparaiso, IN). The Trojans record now stands at 5-3.
