Malad Dragons (Malad, ID) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Salmon Savages (Salmon, ID), 17-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Malad upgrades its record to 14-2 on the year. The Dragons travel to West Jefferson (Terreton, ID) to play the Panthers in a non-league game on Saturday, April 19. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 2-7. West Jefferson lost 13-3 in their recent league game against Firth (Firth, ID)

The Savages now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to American Falls for a non-league game on Friday, April 18. Salmon will play a Beavers squad coming off a 13-11 league loss to Snake River (Blackfoot, ID). The Beavers record now stands at 4-11.
