In Friday's non-league test, the Torrey Pines Falcons (San Diego, CA) softball squad the visiting San Dieguito Academy Mustangs (Encinitas, CA), by a tally of 5-1.

Next, the Falcons clash with the Rancho Buena Vista Longhorns (Vista, CA) in a Coastal North County test, on Tuesday, April 22. Torrey Pines will attempt to advance on its 9-8 season record. The Longhorns go into the test with a 10-7 record after their 2-1 non-league win over La Costa Canyon (Carlsbad, CA).

The Mustangs (11-3) will now prepare for their test against Coastal Academy (Oceanside, CA). The Stingrays go into the non-league test with a 8-4 record. In their last test, Coastal Academy was routed by El Camino (Oceanside, CA), 5-2, in a non-league test.
