In Saturday's non-league bout, the Marshall Eagles (Pasadena, CA) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Polytechnic Panthers (Pasadena, CA), by a tally of 17-8.

Next up, the Eagles encounter the El Monte Lions (El Monte, CA) in a Mission Valley bout, on Wednesday, April 22. Marshall will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record.

The Panthers (7-12) will now prepare for their bout against Flintridge Prep (La Canada, CA). The Wolves enter the Prep bout with a 8-9 record. In their last bout, Flintridge Prep was overwhelmed by Rio Hondo Prep (Arcadia, CA), 5-4, in a league bout.
