The Northside Panthers (Houston, TX) baseball trounced the visiting Yates Lions (Houston, TX), 14-5 in Saturday's league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 16-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Washington for a 4A Region III District 20 challenge on Monday, April 20. Northside will clash with a Golden Eagles team coming off a 5-1 league win over Yates (Houston, TX). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 12-4.

With the defeat, Yates drops to 6-10 on the year. The Lions travel to Furr (Houston, TX) to clash with the Brahmans in a 4A Region III District 20 challenge on Friday, April 24. The Brahmans go into the challenge with a record of 12-4. Furr won 25-5 in their recent league challenge against Kashmere (Houston, TX)
