New York High School Lacrosse - St. Anthony's drops to Malvern Prep
April 18, 2026: Melville, NY 11747 The St. Anthony's Friars lacrosse team (Melville, NY), was overwhelmed 19-12 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Malvern Prep Friars (Malvern, PA)
The Friars (14-1) will now prepare for their contest against Springside Chestnut Hill Academy (Philadelphia, PA). The Blue Devils enter the Inter-Academic contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Springside Chestnut Hill Academy was overwhelmed by Episcopal Academy (Newtown Square, PA), 11-7, in a league contest.
Next, the Friars meet the Iona Prep Gaels (New Rochelle, NY) in a Catholic - Island contest, on Tuesday, April 21. St. Anthony's will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Gaels enter the contest with a 7-0 record after their 10-8 non-league win over Fairfield Prep (Fairfield, CT).
