The Aztec Tigers softball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Dexter Demons to 1 in the Tigers non-league win on Saturday.

The Tigers now possess a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shiprock for a 4A District 1 battle on Tuesday, April 21. Aztec will confront a Chieftains team coming off a 10-2 league loss to Miyamura (Gallup, NM). The Chieftains record now stands at 8-12.

With the loss, Dexter moves to 14-4 on the season. The Demons travel to Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Friday, April 24. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 18-2.
