April 19, 2021: Cordova, AL 35550 The Sumiton Christian Eagles softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Cordova Blue Devils to 0 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Sumiton Christian improves its record to 27-9 on the year. The Eagles travel to Carbon Hill (Carbon Hill, AL) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 20. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 10-13. Carbon Hill lost 9-2 in their recent league game against Oakman (Oakman, AL)
In their next game, the Blue Devils clash with the Fayette County Tigers (Fayette, AL) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 20. Cordova will attempt to improve on its 21-15 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 6-14 record after their 6-5 non-league loss to Lamar County (Vernon, AL).
