The Great Valley Patriots lacrosse squad (Malvern, PA), was overwhelmed 16-6 in Tuesday's league contest with the visiting Downingtown West Whippets (Downingtown, PA)

Next up, the Whippets battle the Sun Valley Vanguards (Aston, PA) in a Ches-Mont outing, on Thursday, April 21. Downingtown West will attempt to upgrade on its 10-0 season record. The Vanguards go into the outing with a 2-5 record after their 16-2 league loss to Bayard Rustin (West Chester, PA).

With the defeat, Great Valley drops to 3-4 on the season. The Patriots travel to Downingtown East (Exton, PA) to confront the Cougars in a Ches-Mont contest on Thursday, April 21. The Cougars enter the contest with a record of 6-1. Downingtown East won 9-5 in their recent league contest against Bishop Shanahan (Downingtown, PA)
