Spectators at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Nicholas County Grizzlies (Summersville, WV) and the host Greenbrier West Cavaliers (Charmco, WV), saw Nicholas County's baseball squad knock off Greenbrier West by a count of 10-7.

Coming up next, the Grizzlies play the Shady Spring Tigers (Shady Spring, WV) in a Coalfield AA battle, on Friday, April 21. Nicholas County will attempt to move on its 12-4 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 11-5 record after their 22-3 league win over PikeView (Princeton, WV).
