The La Porte Slicers baseball team (La Porte, IN), was overwhelmed 12-2 in Wednesday's league outing with the visiting Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN)

The Indians now hold a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Penn for a non-league outing on Saturday, April 22. Lake Central will confront a Kingsmen team coming off a 13-4 non-league win over Mishawaka (Mishawaka, IN). The Kingsmen record now stands at 6-4.

Next, the Slicers confront the Plymouth Pilgrims/Rockies (Plymouth, IN) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, April 22. La Porte will attempt to advance on its 8-5 season record. The Pilgrims/Rockies go into the outing with a 5-5 record after their 9-2 league loss to Warsaw (Warsaw, IN).
