April 19, 2023: Midlothian, VA 23112 The crowd at Wednesday's league game between the Powhatan Indians (Powhatan, VA) and the host Manchester Lancers (Midlothian, VA), saw Powhatan's lacrosse team top Manchester by a final score of 21-0.
The Indians (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Cosby (Midlothian, VA). The Titans go into the Dominion match with a 7-0 record. In their last match, Cosby defeated Clover Hill (Midlothian, VA), 17-1, in a league match.
With the defeat, Manchester drops to 1-5 on the season. The Lancers host Thomas Dale (Chester, VA) to play the Knights in a non-league match on Wednesday, April 26. The Knights go into the match with a record of 1-6. Thomas Dale won 15-3 in their recent non-league match against Fuqua (Farmville, VA)
