April 19, 2023: Wayne City, IL 62895 Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Benton Rangers (Benton, IL) and the host Wayne City Indians (Wayne City, IL), witnessed Benton's softball squad prevail over Wayne City by a count of 14-4.
The Rangers now sport a 11-9 record. They play next when they travel to Waltonville for a non-league match on Thursday, April 20. Benton will face a Spartans squad coming off a 18-0 league win over Cisne (Cisne, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 11-7.
