Washington High School Softball - Mt. Baker bounces Squalicum
April 19, 2023: Deming, WA 98244 The Mt. Baker Mountaineers (Deming, WA) softball routed the visiting Squalicum Storm (Bellingham, WA), 20-0 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Mountaineers (6-2) will now prepare for their bout against Lakewood (Arlington, WA). The Cougars go into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout with a 1-4 record. In their last bout, Lakewood was routed by Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA), 13-2, in a league bout.
The Storm now possess a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Meridian for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout on Friday, April 21. Squalicum will confront a Trojans squad coming off a 6-3 league loss to Lynden Christian (Lynden, WA). The Trojans record now stands at 7-4.
