Washington High School Softball - Toledo bounces Wahkiakum
April 19, 2023: Cathlamet, WA 98612 Toledo Indians (Toledo, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Wahkiakum Mules (Cathlamet, WA), 18-0 in a league challenge.
The Indians now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Ocosta for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 21. Toledo will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 7-5 league win over Pe Ell/Willapa Valley (Menlo, WA). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-3.
With the loss, Wahkiakum falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Mules travel to Rainier (Rainier, WA) to battle the Mountaineers in a 2B Central challenge on Thursday, April 20. The Mountaineers enter the challenge with a record of 4-0.
