April 19, 2024: Charlotte, NC 28270 Providence Panthers (Charlotte, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Ardrey Kell Knights (Charlotte, NC), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Providence upgrades its record to 18-3 on the season. The Panthers travel to East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC) to battle the Eagles in a Southwestern 4A test on Tuesday, April 23. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 15-7. East Mecklenburg lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC)
With the defeat, Ardrey Kell falls to 8-11 on the season. The Knights host Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC) to battle the Storm in a non-league test on Saturday, April 20. The Storm come into the test with a record of 11-7. Stuart W. Cramer won 3-0 in their recent league test against Huss (Gastonia, NC)
