April 19, 2024: Freeland, MI 48623 Freeland Falcons (Freeland, MI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Meridian Mustangs (Sanford, MI), 12-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Freeland upgrades its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Falcons host Gladwin (Gladwin, MI) to play the Flying G's in a non-league battle on Saturday, April 20. The Flying G's enter the battle with a record of 3-1. Gladwin won 10-0 in their recent league battle against Roscommon (Roscommon, MI)
The Mustangs now possess a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Kingsley for a non-league battle on Monday, April 22. Meridian will play a Stags squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, MI). The Stags record now stands at 4-1.
