April 19, 2024: Luverne, MN 56156 The Luverne Cardinals crushed the visiting Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Fighting Saints baseball team by a count of 20-6 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Cardinals now possess a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kasson-Mantorville for a non-league bout on Friday, April 19. Luverne will face a Komets team coming off a 5-2 league win over Lourdes (Rochester, MN). The Komets record now stands at 3-2.
Next, the Fighting Saints face the Ashby Arrows (Ashby, MN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 20. Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Arrows enter the bout with a 1-2 record after their 15-2 non-league loss to MACCRAY (Clara City, MN).
