April 19, 2024: Newark, NJ 07102 The Arts Jaguars (Newark, NJ) volleyball overcame the visiting University Phoenix (Newark, NJ), 2-0 in Friday's league outing.
With the win, Arts upgrades its record to 6-2 on the year. The Jaguars travel to West Orange (West Orange, NJ) to face the Mountaineers in a non-league outing on Saturday, April 20. The Mountaineers go into the outing with a record of 4-5. West Orange lost 2-1 in their recent league outing against Orange (Orange, NJ)
The Phoenix now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Newark Collegiate Academy for a SEC - Independence outing on Monday, April 22. University will face a Panthers squad coming off a 2-0 league win over West Side (Newark, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 2-4.
