First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Clinton Dark Horses (Clinton, NC), 5-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Nighthawks face the Camden County Bruins (Camden, NC) in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A challenge, on Monday, April 22. First Flight will attempt to better on its 6-7 season record. The Bruins enter the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 0-0 non-league Southside (Chocowinity, NC).

The Dark Horses now have a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Pauls for a Southeastern Athletic 2A challenge on Tuesday, April 23. Clinton will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 4-2 league loss to Red Springs (Red Springs, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-11.
