April 19, 2024: Marshall, VA 20115 Fresta Valley Christian Pioneers (Marshall, VA) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Grace Christian Warriors (Staunton, VA), 3-2 in a league challenge.
Next, the Pioneers confront the Covenant Christian Academy Golden Eagles (Warrenton, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 22. Fresta Valley Christian will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 5-1 league loss to Chelsea Academy (Front Royal, VA).
The Warriors now possess a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Blue Ridge Christian for a challenge on Tuesday, April 23. Grace Christian will confront a Bears team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Shenandoah Valley Academy (New Market, VA). The Bears record now stands at 5-2.
