April 19, 2024: Misenheimer, NC 28109 The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Gray Stone Day Knights (Misenheimer, NC) and the visiting North Rowan Cavaliers (Spencer, NC), saw Gray Stone Day's soccer squad triumph over North Rowan by a count of 9-0.
The Knights now hold a 7-4 record. They play next when they host Albemarle for a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A test on Monday, April 22. Gray Stone Day will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 4-1 league loss to Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-9.
With the loss, North Rowan drops to 0-15 on the season. The Cavaliers host East Davidson (Thomasville, NC) to meet the Golden Eagles in a Central Carolina 1A/2A test on Monday, April 22. The Golden Eagles come into the test with a record of 8-5. East Davidson lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC)
