West Cabarrus Wolverines (Concord, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC), 7-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, West Cabarrus upgrades its record to 3-8 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC) to battle the Ragin' Bulls in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 23. The Ragin' Bulls come into the test with a record of 10-6. Hickory Ridge lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC)

With the defeat, A.L. Brown falls to 2-10 on the season. The Wonders host North Stanly (New London, NC) to battle the Comets in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 23. The Comets come into the test with a record of 9-5.
