April 19, 2024: Newark, NJ 07108 American History Bald Eagles (Newark, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host University Phoenix (Newark, NJ), 18-10 in a non-league challenge.
The Bald Eagles now own a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Elizabeth for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 22. American History will battle a Minutemen squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Brearley (Kenilworth, NJ). The Minutemen record now stands at 4-3.
With the loss, University falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Phoenix host Lincoln (Jersey City, NJ) to battle the Lions in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 19. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 0-6. Lincoln lost 20-0 in their recent league challenge against Ferris (Jersey City, NJ)
