The Canyon View Falcons (Cedar City, UT) softball nipped the visiting Richfield Wildcats (Richfield, UT), 4-3 in Friday's league bout.

The Falcons (10-8) will now prepare for their bout against Manti (Manti, UT). The Templars go into the 3A Region 12 bout with a 9-12 record. In their last bout, Manti was edged by Carbon (Price, UT), 14-2, in a league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 4-12 record. They play next when they host Juab for a 3A Region 12 bout on Monday, April 22. Richfield will confront a Wasps squad coming off a 16-0 league loss to North Sanpete (Mt. Pleasant, UT). The Wasps record now stands at 10-6.
