South Carolina High School Softball - Chesnee gets by Landrum
April 19, 2024: Chesnee, SC 29323 The Chesnee Eagles (Chesnee, SC) softball nipped the visiting Landrum Cardinals (Landrum, SC), 1-0 in Friday's league bout.
The Eagles (2-5) will now prepare for their bout against Boiling Springs (Spartanburg, SC). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 7-9 record. In their last bout, Boiling Springs was edged by James F. Byrnes (Duncan, SC), 11-0, in a league bout.
The Cardinals now possess a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Blacksburg for a AA Region 1 bout on Monday, April 22. Landrum will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 15-2 league win over Liberty (Liberty, SC). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-4.
