Massachusetts High School Softball - Wahconah Regional bounces Drury
April 19, 2024: North Adams, MA 01247 Wahconah Regional Warriors (Dalton, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Drury Blue Devils (North Adams, MA), 17-13 in a league challenge.
The Warriors now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Frontier Regional for a PVIAC - Franklin challenge on Monday, April 22. Wahconah Regional will battle a Red Hawks squad coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to South Hadley (South Hadley, MA). The Red Hawks record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, Drury falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Mount Everett Regional (Sheffield, MA) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 23. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 2-0. Mount Everett Regional won 18-6 in their recent league challenge against Chicopee (Chicopee, MA)
