April 19, 2024: Greenbelt, MD 20770 In Friday's league contest, the Eleanor Roosevelt Raiders (Greenbelt, MD) softball team overwhelmed the visiting DuVal Tigers (Lanham, MD), by a margin of 14-2.
With the triumph, Eleanor Roosevelt moves its record to 11-0 on the year. The Raiders travel to Northwestern (Hyattsville, MD) to play the Wildcats in a Prince George's County 4A contest on Wednesday, April 24. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 0-10. Northwestern lost 17-14 in their recent league contest against Bladensburg (Bladensburg, MD)
The Tigers (6-7) will now prepare for their test against Gwynn Park (Brandywine, MD). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league test with a 9-1 record. In their last test, Gwynn Park was routed by Surrattsville (Clinton, MD), 1-0, in a league test.
