April 19, 2024: Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702 In Friday's non-league contest, the Wilkes-Barre Wolfpack (Wilkes-Barre, PA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Hanover Area Hawkeyes (Hanover Township, PA), by a margin of 17-1.
With the triumph, Wilkes-Barre moves its record to 5-6 on the year. The Wolfpack host Dallas (Dallas, PA) to play the Mountaineers in a Wyoming Valley 1 contest on Tuesday, April 23. The Mountaineers come into the contest with a record of 2-8. Dallas lost 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Riverside (Taylor, PA)
In their next game, the Hawkeyes play the Berwick Bulldogs (Berwick, PA) in a Wyoming Valley 2 contest, on Monday, April 22. Hanover Area will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 7-3 record after their 8-2 non-league loss to North Schuylkill (Ashland, PA).
