In Friday's league outing, the visiting Monroeville Eagles softball team scored a nice 13-3 win over the Western Reserve Roughriders.

Coming up next, the Eagles battle the Plymouth Big Red (Plymouth, OH) in a Firelands outing, on Monday, April 22. Monroeville will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Big Red enter the outing with a 1-9 record after their 14-6 league loss to Mapleton (Ashland, OH).

The Roughriders (1-7) will now prepare for their outing against Norwalk (Norwalk, OH). The Truckers enter the non-league outing with a 8-4 record. In their last outing, Norwalk ran past Bellevue (Bellevue, OH), 21-12, in a league outing.
