Kentucky High School Softball - Nelson County topped by Warren East
April 19, 2024: Bowling Green, KY 42101 The Warren East Raiders softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Nelson County Cardinals to 1 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Warren East moves its record to 16-8 on the year. The Raiders travel to Lawrence County (Louisa, KY) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Friday, April 19. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 18-0. Lawrence County won 11-0 in their recent non-league game against Elliott County (Sandy Hook, KY)
In their next game, the Cardinals play the Thomas Nelson Generals (Bardstown, KY) in a District 19 game, on Monday, April 22. Nelson County will attempt to move on its 8-7 season record. The Generals come into the game with a 6-6 record after their 15-0 league loss to Bethlehem (Bardstown, KY).
