The Perry County Central Commodores got by the host Union County Braves softball squad by a final score of 7-6 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Commodores (14-8) will now prepare for their battle against Harrison County (Cynthiana, KY). The Thorobreds go into the non-league battle with a 15-4 record. In their last battle, Harrison County nudged Bourbon County (Paris, KY), 11-1, in a non-league battle.

The Braves now possess a 7-8 record. They play next when they host Christian County for a non-league battle on Friday, April 19. Union County will meet a Colonels squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Webster County (Dixon, KY). The Colonels record now stands at 9-6.
