Connecticut High School Baseball - Bacon Academy defeats Wheeler
April 19, 2025: Colchester, CT 06415 The Bacon Academy Bobcats (Colchester, CT) baseball trounced the visiting Wheeler Lions (North Stonington, CT), 13-5 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Bobcats now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Stonington for a Eastern Connecticut - Division III challenge on Tuesday, April 22. Bacon Academy will clash with a Bears team coming off a 7-5 league win over Griswold (Griswold, CT). The Bears record now stands at 7-2.
With the defeat, Wheeler drops to 2-2 on the year. The Lions travel to Killingly (Killingly, CT) to clash with the Redmen in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 22. The Redmen go into the challenge with a record of 6-1. Killingly won 10-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Plainfield (Central Village, CT)
