Kansas High School Baseball - Valley Center holds off Circle
April 19, 2025: Valley Center, KS 67147 The Valley Center Hornets baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Circle Thunderbirds to 5 in the Hornets non-league win on Saturday.
The Hornets now hold a 10-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Maize South for a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division I test on Tuesday, April 22. Valley Center will play a Mavericks team coming off a 8-2 league win over Hutchinson (Hutchinson, KS). The Mavericks record now stands at 8-4.
With the defeat, Circle drops to 4-11 on the year. The Thunderbirds host Haysville Campus (Wichita, KS) to play the Colts in a non-league test on Monday, April 21. The Colts go into the test with a record of 8-3. Haysville Campus lost 9-7 in their recent league test against South (Salina, KS)
