The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Valparaiso Vikings (Valparaiso, IN) and the host Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs (Franklin, IN), saw Valparaiso's baseball team gain a win over Franklin Community by a tally of 10-7.

The Vikings (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Portage (Portage, IN). The Indians enter the Duneland battle with a 8-0 record. In their last battle, Portage Washington Township (Valparaiso, IN), 4-4, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Grizzly Cubs face the Whiteland Warriors (Whiteland, IN) in a Mid-State battle, on Tuesday, April 22. Franklin Community will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 5-2 record after their 8-4 non-league win over Tri-West Hendricks (Lizton, IN).
