Michigan High School Baseball - Renaissance wallops Hamtramck
April 19, 2025: Detroit, MI 48235 The Renaissance Phoenix (Detroit, MI) baseball trounced the visiting Hamtramck Cosmos (Hamtramck, MI), 13-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Phoenix now own a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they host Cass Tech for a Detroit Public - Southwest challenge on Tuesday, April 22. Renaissance will clash with a Technicians team coming off a 10-2 non-league win over Glenn (Westland, MI). The Technicians record now stands at 12-3.
With the defeat, Hamtramck drops to 3-4 on the year. The Cosmos travel to Taylor Prep (Taylor, MI) to clash with the Tigers in a CSC/MMAC challenge on Thursday, April 24. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 6-3. Taylor Prep lost 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Ecorse (Ecorse, MI)
