Hughesville Spartans (Hughesville, PA) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Troy Trojans (Troy, PA), 11-9 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Hughesville moves its record to 6-4 on the season. The Spartans host Warrior Run (Turbotville, PA) to confront the Defenders in a Heartland III match on Wednesday, April 23. The Defenders come into the match with a record of 8-1.

The Trojans now possess a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shamokin Area for a non-league match on Saturday, April 19. Troy will confront a Indians squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to Selinsgrove (Selinsgrove, PA). The Indians record now stands at 3-6.
