Illinois High School Baseball - Normal West loses to Lake Zurich
April 19, 2025: Normal, IL 61761 In Saturday's non-league bout, the Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Normal West Wildcats (Normal, IL), by a score of 17-9.
Next up, the Bears encounter the Lake Forest Scouts (Lake Forest, IL) in a North Suburban bout, on Monday, April 21. Lake Zurich will attempt to advance on its 8-6 season record. The Scouts enter the bout with a 5-10 record after their 10-1 non-league loss to Cary-Grove (Cary, IL).
The Wildcats (12-6) will now prepare for their bout against Normal Community (Normal, IL). The Ironmen enter the Big Twelve bout with a 12-3 record. In their last bout, Normal Community achieved victory over Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL), 4-1, in a non-league bout.
