Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Neshannock defeats Union Area

April 19, 2025: New Castle, PA 16105

The Neshannock Lancers baseball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Union Area Scotties to 10 in the Lancers non-league win on Saturday.

The Lancers now own a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shenango for a WPIAL 2A 2 test on Tuesday, April 22. Neshannock will play a Wildcats team coming off a 14-7 league win over New Brighton (New Brighton, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-2.

With the defeat, Union Area drops to 3-7 on the year. The Scotties travel to Aquinas Academy (Gibsonia, PA) to play the Crusaders in a WPIAL 1A 2 test on Tuesday, April 22. The Crusaders go into the test with a record of 2-7. Aquinas Academy lost 16-1 in their recent league test against Leechburg (Leechburg, PA)
