New Jersey High School Lacrosse - Summit overwhelms New Providence
April 19, 2025: Summit, NJ 07091 The Summit Hilltoppers lacrosse squad scored 17 points and limited the visiting New Providence Pioneers to 7 in the Hilltoppers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Hilltoppers now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Seton Hall Prep for a Fitch-Pitt outing on Tuesday, April 22. Summit will face a Pirates squad coming off a 14-7 non-league win over Fairfield Prep (Fairfield, CT). The Pirates record now stands at 5-1.
With the loss, New Providence falls to 5-2 on the year. The Pioneers host St. Peter's Prep (Jersey City, NJ) to face the Marauders in a non-league outing on Wednesday, April 23. The Marauders go into the outing with a record of 4-1. St. Peter's Prep lost 9-5 in their recent non-league outing against Immaculata (Somerville, NJ)
