New Palestine Dragons (New Palestine, IN) supporters left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting East Central Trojans (St. Leon, IN), 8-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, New Palestine improves its record to 8-0 on the year. The Dragons host Yorktown (Yorktown, IN) to play the Tigers in a Hoosier Heritage game on Tuesday, April 22. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 5-1. Yorktown won 29-0 in their recent non-league game against Muncie Central (Muncie, IN)

The Trojans now hold a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Franklin County for a Eastern Indiana game on Monday, April 21. East Central will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 18-7 non-league win over Union County (Liberty, IN). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-3.
