The Lake Central Indians triumphed over the visiting Edwardsburg Eddies softball squad by a count of 10-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Indians play the Crown Point Bulldogs (Crown Point, IN) in a Duneland challenge, on Monday, April 21. Lake Central will attempt to upgrade on its 11-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 9-1 record after their 15-3 league win over Chesterton (Chesterton, IN).

The Eddies (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Paw Paw (Paw Paw, MI). The Red Wolves enter the challenge with a 3-1 record.
