Kentucky High School Softball - Lewis County edges West Carter
April 19, 2025: Olive Hill, KY 41164 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Lewis County Lions (Vanceburg, KY) and the host West Carter Comets (Olive Hill, KY), observed Lewis County's softball team get by West Carter by a final score of 6-4.
The Lions (11-10) will now prepare for their bout against Russell (Russell, KY). The Red Devils go into the District 63 bout with a 6-11 record. In their last bout, Russell by East Carter (Grayson, KY), 4-3, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Comets battle the East Carter Raiders (Grayson, KY) in a District 62 bout, on Monday, April 21. West Carter will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 18-4 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Russell (Russell, KY).
