New Jersey High School Softball - Mahwah bounces Union City
April 19, 2025: Mahwah, NJ 07430 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Mahwah Thunderbirds (Mahwah, NJ) and the visiting Union City Soaring Eagles (Union City, NJ), observed Mahwah's softball team notch a victory over Union City by a final score of 12-2.
The Thunderbirds (9-3) will now prepare for their bout against Indian Hills (Oakland, NJ). The Braves go into the Big North - Patriot bout with a 8-2 record. In their last bout, Indian Hills gained a win over Northern Highlands (Allendale, NJ), 1-0, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Soaring Eagles battle the Montclair Mounties (Montclair, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 21. Union City will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Mounties go into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 5-2 non-league win over Glen Ridge (Glen Ridge, NJ).
