Ohio High School Softball - Wellston bounces Northwestern
April 19, 2025: Springfield, OH 45502 The Wellston Golden Rockets softball team scored 18 runs and held the host Northwestern Warriors to 1 in the Golden Rockets non-league win on Saturday.
The Golden Rockets now possess a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spring Valley for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 19. Wellston will confront a Timberwolves team coming off a 9-6 league win over St. Albans (St. Albans, WV). The Timberwolves record now stands at 7-5.
With the loss, Northwestern moves to 6-5 on the season. The Warriors travel to Indian Lake (Lewistown, OH) to confront the Lakers in a Central Buckeye - Mad River battle on Monday, April 21. The Lakers come into the battle with a record of 6-6. Indian Lake lost 9-3 in their recent non-league battle against London (London, OH)
