West Virginia High School Softball - Point Pleasant bested by Western Brown
April 19, 2025: Point Pleasant, WV 25550 The Western Brown Broncos triumphed over the host Point Pleasant Big Blacks softball squad by a count of 14-4 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Broncos play the Lawrence County Bulldogs (Louisa, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 19. Western Brown will attempt to upgrade on its 14-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 6-5 non-league loss to Rowan County (Morehead, KY).
The Big Blacks (9-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Cabell Midland (Ona, WV). The Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 12-2 record. In their last challenge, Cabell Midland overcame Scott (Madison, WV), 4-2, in a non-league challenge.
